Refund Policy
Last updated: 29 June 2026
This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for Tentra.
Tentra is currently an early-stage date planning product. At this stage, the app may not process real payments directly. If no payment has been made to Tentra, there is nothing for Tentra to refund.
1. If Tentra does not process your payment
If you book a venue, ticket, event, activity or service through a third-party website, your payment is handled by that third party.
This may include:
- restaurants
- venues
- booking platforms
- ticket providers
- event organisers
- external websites
Refunds, cancellations, booking changes and no-show rules are controlled by that third party, not Tentra.
Please contact the venue or booking provider directly.
2. Tentra subscriptions or paid features
If Tentra introduces paid features, subscriptions or premium plans, the refund rules will be shown clearly before purchase.
Unless stated otherwise:
- subscriptions can be cancelled for future billing periods
- cancelling a subscription stops future charges but does not automatically refund past charges
- refunds may be considered where required by law or where a technical issue prevents access to a paid feature
3. EU/EEA consumer rights
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you may have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases of services or digital content, subject to legal exceptions.
If you ask for immediate access to digital content or a digital service, your withdrawal rights may be affected where permitted by law.
Tentra will update this policy with clearer purchase-specific rules before launching real paid subscriptions or digital purchases.
4. Venue bookings and events
Tentra may help you discover or access booking links, but Tentra does not control:
- venue availability
- table reservations
- event cancellations
- ticket refunds
- weather-related cancellations
- late arrival or no-show rules
- deposits charged by venues or booking providers
Always check the third party's own cancellation and refund rules before booking.
5. Incorrect or outdated venue information
Tentra is an early product and some venue information may require verification.
If a venue link, price, location or opening time is incorrect, this does not automatically create a right to a refund from Tentra unless you paid Tentra directly for a service that failed.
6. How to request a refund from Tentra
If you paid Tentra directly and believe you are entitled to a refund, contact hello@tentra.app.
Please include:
- the email used for purchase, if applicable
- purchase date
- amount paid
- reason for the request
- any relevant screenshots or receipts
7. Processing time
If a refund is approved, it will usually be processed back to the original payment method where possible. Processing times may depend on the payment provider or bank.
8. Changes to this Refund Policy
We may update this Refund Policy as Tentra develops and introduces paid features. The updated version will be shown on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
